Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services across both elementary and high school settings. This contract position offers the chance to work with diverse student populations, supporting their growth and development as part of a collaborative educational team.

In this role, you will split your time between two different school sites. Two days each week will be spent at an elementary building, working from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The remaining three days are allocated to a high school building, with working hours of 7:05 AM to 2:35 PM and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This schedule offers a balance of responsibilities and experiences between younger and older students.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school settings, especially at elementary and high school levels
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and student documentation requirements
  • Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to students' individual needs in both elementary and high school environments
  • Conduct assessments, write detailed evaluations, and help develop IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
