Occupational Therapist School Setting - Plainfield, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Familiarity supporting students across multiple age groups
• Preferred: Background working in therapeutic day school environments
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT services to a varied caseload of students, from early childhood through high school
• Assess students’ functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional success
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services as outlined in IEPs
• Chart student progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Facilitate interventions that promote participation, independence, and skill development in school routines

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:30pm, totaling 36.25 hours per week. You'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven environment dedicated to empowering students.
