School Occupational Therapist - Plainfield, New Jersey

As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you'll provide specialized therapy to students in a collaborative, school-based environment. The position requires services to be delivered 6 times a month for 25-minute sessions, empowering you to build genuine connections with the students you serve.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Jersey
• Experience working in schools, home health, or pediatric settings is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accurate records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
