Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in California
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
- Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs related to motor development, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school environment
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in a variety of educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to promote skill generalization
