This full-time contract opportunity, available from August through the end of December, offers you the chance to work closely with children and collaborate with dedicated school professionals in a supportive environment close to Pleasant Hill, CA.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure in California
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
  • Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs related to motor development, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school environment
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in a variety of educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families to promote skill generalization
