School Occupational Therapist | Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services for the 2026-2027 academic year! This role places you at the heart of school-based therapy, making a direct impact on young learners’ growth and educational experiences. You’ll work with a manageable caseload—typically ranging from 35 to 45 students, primarily elementary-aged—collaborating closely with faculty and families to support each child’s development.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, adaptable, and organized in managing multiple priorities

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students referred for occupational therapy services
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals
• Document student progress and adjust therapy techniques as appropriate
• Educate staff and parents on strategies and accommodations for classroom success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on OT interventions
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student independence
