Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in California
  • School-based OT experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized support for students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs, develop intervention plans, and provide direct therapy
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
  • Facilitate skill-building in areas such as fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help
