Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (MI OT license required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, IEP documentation, and goal-setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse student populations
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Assess students’ strengths and challenges, creating individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate fine and gross motor activities, sensory integration, and daily living skills
  • Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain detailed records
  • Consult with educators and family members to integrate strategies into classroom settings
