Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure for the state
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and a variety of special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to address academic and functional needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting sessions for various ages and abilities
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement accommodations and strategies in the classroom
- Monitor progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and professional ethics
