Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT licensure for the state
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and a variety of special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to address academic and functional needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services, adapting sessions for various ages and abilities
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement accommodations and strategies in the classroom
  • Monitor progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and professional ethics
