Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
- Experience supporting school-aged students, including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades, and High School
- Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering therapy in school environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse needs and age groups
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized OT services to assigned students, primarily in-person, with some hybrid flexibility
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions
- Work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and school guidelines
- Provide resources and strategies to support student engagement and independence
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
