Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active, valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
  • Experience supporting school-aged students, including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades, and High School
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering therapy in school environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse needs and age groups
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized OT services to assigned students, primarily in-person, with some hybrid flexibility
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions
  • Work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Provide resources and strategies to support student engagement and independence
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
