School Occupational Therapist - Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting private schools in the Jacksonville, FL area! This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students across four school sites: Morning Star, Cedar Creek, Grace Lutheran, and Growing Together Behavioral. You'll enjoy a flexible, school-based schedule and have the potential to expand to a full-time caseload as additional students are identified.

Your expertise in crafting individualized therapy plans will help children and adolescents develop crucial skills for academic and personal success. As an itinerant therapist, you'll benefit from working collaboratively with a variety of education professionals in diverse learning environments.

What we’re looking for:

• Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel between school sites within Jacksonville’s North and West Side
• Fingerprinting required; if you have previous prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse, verification and possible reprinting may be necessary
• Willingness to complete additional credentialing requirements, including application for a JLA badge (which may take up to 10 business days)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering therapy to students ages preschool through high school
• Documenting progress and collaborating on IEPs and goal setting
• Supporting teachers and families with resources and intervention strategies
• Traveling to assigned private school sites as an itinerant therapist
• Participating in student evaluations and eligibility determinations

This role lets you build meaningful relationships within the school community while delivering targeted occupational therapy services. The position is on-site only, offering a hands-on experience and close connection with students and staff.
