School Occupational Therapist

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract position with a local school district near Port Angeles, WA. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job. Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify students’ fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional participation needs within the educational environment.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students’ access to academic activities, classroom participation, handwriting, motor coordination, sensory regulation, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies and accommodations that support student success and participation in school routines.

Experience:
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred but not required

Education:
• M.S. in Occupational Therapy
• Washington Occupational Therapy License
• NCBOT Certification

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Position Dates: September 1, 2026 – June 15, 2027
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
