Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Active WA SLP License (Occupational Therapy endorsement)
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Commitment to working in person throughout the contract period
- Ability to adapt to varying grade levels based on caseload and district needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs and create individualized intervention plans
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and comply with state and district reporting requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student support
- Flexibly manage caseload assignments across different grade bands as required
