Occupational Therapist School Setting in Port Orchard, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
• Active WA SLP License (Occupational Therapy endorsement)
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Commitment to working in person throughout the contract period
• Ability to adapt to varying grade levels based on caseload and district needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs and create individualized intervention plans
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and comply with state and district reporting requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student support
• Flexibly manage caseload assignments across different grade bands as required
