This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver in-person services, making a meaningful impact in one school community while maintaining a manageable caseload of 32 students.
As a valued member of the educational team, your expertise will help students overcome challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their goals in the classroom setting. The position runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, providing stability and consistency throughout the academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active WA Occupational Therapist license (ESA required)
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices for working with elementary-aged students
- Commitment to providing in-person therapy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff
- Document services and evaluations accurately
- Support IEP development and actively participate in meetings
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
