Two full-time OT positions are available for dedicated professionals eager to create positive change in students’ educational journeys. With an engaging and diverse caseload, you’ll collaborate with educators and families while supporting students’ development in both fine and gross motor skills. This contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, beginning immediately and extending through the 26/27 school year.

Desired Background and Skills:

  • Current certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Knowledge of K-12 developmental and educational milestones
  • Strong abilities in evaluation, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Proficiency in supporting children with fine and gross motor skill development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and creativity in addressing diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine OT needs within the educational environment
  • Design and implement tailored intervention plans to promote student independence and participation
  • Track and document progress toward individualized educational goals
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive classroom strategies
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and help develop student-centered goals
  • Monitor caseloads across grades K-12, adapting approaches for each age group
