Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school setting. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing services across multiple campuses, offering both direct intervention and collaborative support within educational environments. This position runs from May 5th, 2026, through June 5th, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 14 hours spread over two weekdays (7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Indiana
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a school district setting
  • Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering independence and functional skills in students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ abilities and develop IEP-appropriate intervention goals
  • Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students' education plans
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and intervention activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with staff and families
  • Serve as a resource on sensory and functional strategies for classroom integration
