Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license (or eligibility to obtain) in the state of Maine
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in pediatrics preferred
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions and strategies for diverse student needs
- Passion for making a positive difference in students’ lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services, adapting activities to support students’ academic and developmental goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress, evaluations, and IEP-related requirements
- Support a positive and inclusive school culture
