Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience providing OT services within school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and developing treatment plans for a school population
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A passion for helping students achieve their highest potential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ individual OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support student learning and participation
- Collaborate with educators and families to support classroom strategies and accommodations
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide therapy sessions—both individual and group—to support academic goals and functional skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal development
