Make a difference in students’ lives every week as an Occupational Therapist supporting both middle and high school populations. This rewarding contract opportunity offers a dynamic full-time schedule near Pottstown, PA, where you can apply your expertise in a welcoming and collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid state Occupational Therapist licensure/certification (or eligibility)
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt activities and approaches to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
- Promote functional independence in academic, social, and daily living skills
- Conduct ongoing assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students four days a week on a middle school campus (7:45am–3:00pm)
- Offer services one day per week at the high school level (7:30am–2:30pm)
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all learners
