Key Qualifications:
- Current WA State OT License
- ESA Certification (Educational Staff Associate)
- Successful fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement effective plans for student success
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop individualized interventions addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills necessary for school participation
- Advocate for student needs and contribute positively to the school culture
