Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students, addressing their educational and developmental needs.
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapy goals, evaluating progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies that promote student participation and independence in the school setting.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for IEP (Individualized Education Program) development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas.
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage caseload responsibilities effectively within a limited timeframe.
