What You’ll Bring:

  • State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in a school environment is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for students PreK-12
  • Passion for empowering students with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Adaptability and creativity in therapeutic approaches

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement customized intervention plans to support students’ participation in academics and daily school routines
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to track progress and coordinate strategies
  • Document services and progress in alignment with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide consultative support and resources for staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
