Qualifications:

  • Active or eligible Occupational Therapy (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license for the state
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare-related environments preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both children and adults
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and work well in a team-based school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and document outcomes in alignment with school guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create accessible learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on accommodations and interventions
  • Develop and implement therapeutic activities that enhance students’ participation in daily school activities
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as school policies
