An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a school setting located in Providence, RI. This role involves traveling to various schools to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services aimed at helping students enhance their functional skills and succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Provide direct therapy services in the school environment, adapting activities to meet educational goals.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license.
  • Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of educational environments and individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Ability to travel to multiple school locations within Providence, RI.
