A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in a dynamic Providence, RI school setting, offering travel opportunities. This role involves providing specialized OT services to students at a high school site within the Providence Public School District, starting immediately through June 16, 2026.
Location:
- Providence, Rhode Island (in-person at Hope High School site)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a school environment
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state regulations and school district policies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license meeting state requirements for Rhode Island
- Experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Commitment to in-person work throughout the assignment period
