Occupational Therapist School Setting in Provo, UT

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with children and diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with different needs
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based approaches for student support
• Offer training to school staff regarding occupational therapy techniques and accommodations
