An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a K-12 caseload in a school setting located in Puyallup, WA. This contract position is perfect for those seeking to contribute their expertise in a dynamic educational environment during the school year.
Position Details:
- Location: Onsite in Puyallup, WA
- Schedule: Full-time (35–40 hours per week)
- Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year
- Caseload: K–12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing student participation and independence
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
