Occupational Therapist School Setting in Puyallup, WA

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their learning and development as a full-time Occupational Therapist working with a K-12 caseload. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year. You’ll serve students on-site, providing vital services in a collaborative, forward-thinking educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
• Skill in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Experience in a school-based setting is appreciated, though not required

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students across K–12 grade levels
• Develop creative, individualized intervention strategies to maximize student participation and functional performance
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
• Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings; maintain all required documentation
• Utilize evidence-based practices to inform therapy decisions and promote student growth
