In this role, you'll provide crucial OT services at a local academy, helping students grow and thrive in both academic and functional areas. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is scheduled through the end of the school year, with the option to extend into the next school year. The weekly schedule consists of 35 hours, and specific caseload details will be shared soon.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure is required
- At least 2 years of OT experience in schools strongly preferred
- Must hold an active Medicaid provider number
- Up-to-date CAQH profile and credentialing with additional insurance providers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create strategies that promote student success
- Document interventions, maintain thorough records, and complete reports as needed
- Adapt and modify materials and environments to enhance student participation
- Support compliance with state, district, and insurance requirements
