Make an immediate impact by providing essential occupational therapy services to students in a supportive educational environment. This contract position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours and the opportunity to continue into the next school year. The assignment will run from as soon as possible through the end of the current school year, with renewal potential.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age populations preferred
  • Must possess an active Medicaid provider number
  • Must have a current CAQH profile
  • Credentialed with additional insurance companies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in educational settings highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students within the assigned caseload
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to develop and implement IEPs and student support plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insight on student needs
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
