School Occupational Therapist - Puyallup, Washington

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students through the 2026-2027 academic year in a vibrant school community near Puyallup, WA. This role spans 35 hours per week, beginning in early September and concluding in mid-June, with dedicated training days in August.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Washington State (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience delivering OT services in elementary or K-12 school settings
• Strong clinical skills in school-based OT, as well as home health or healthcare OT
• Ability to develop and follow individualized treatment and intervention plans
• Skilled in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Comfortable managing a diverse and varied caseload
• Commitment to professional growth and continuing education

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized plans for elementary students
• Deliver both group and one-on-one OT interventions to support student participation and learning
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support holistic student progress
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and ongoing professional development as needed
• Adapt strategies to address a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive needs
