A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized therapy services within a school setting in Quincy, MA. This role focuses on delivering in-home occupational therapy services to students in Andover, MA, supporting their individual learning and developmental needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing two 60-minute in-home OT sessions per week to students in Andover
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Conducting assessments and developing tailored therapy plans to enhance students’ functional skills in educational and home settings
- Documenting and tracking student progress according to school and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings to discuss student needs and strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in schools and/or home settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT interventions and school-based therapy techniques
- Ability to work independently and maintain clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation necessary for in-home service provision in Andover
