Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Comfort and proficiency with home health and teletherapy service delivery models
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities with children, families, and staff
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
- Organization and adaptability for managing a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized OT services to students according to their educational plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment goals, and monitor student progress
- Provide therapy both in schools and, when needed, via teletherapy or home visits
- Support classroom staff and families with strategies to enhance student participation and independence
- Maintain clear documentation of sessions and student outcomes in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development
