Desired Background and Skills:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Adaptability to serve diverse student populations and a variety of needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs, supporting their success in the school environment
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure goals are aligned and effective interventions are in place
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district and state guidelines
  • Provide consultation and in-service education to staff regarding strategies and supports

Position Details:

  • Contract assignment, Monday through Thursday
  • Hours are 8:30am to 1:30pm
  • Plainville: approximately 10 hours per week
  • Bellingham: approximately 10 hours per week
  • Opportunity to work at a single location or combine both for a fuller schedule
