School Occupational Therapist - Quincy, Massachusetts

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Competency in customizing interventions for diverse learning and sensory needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small-group OT services to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess and document students’ functional abilities, needs, and progress
• Develop and implement activities aimed at improving fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
• Consult regularly with teachers and educational teams to support students’ classroom participation
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support students’ development at home and in the community
• Maintain thorough, timely, and compliant records as required
