School Occupational Therapist - Quincy, Massachusetts

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering student success and supporting diverse learning needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students with a range of physical, sensory, or developmental challenges
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and adapt interventions to meet individualized student goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer consultation and training for teachers and paraprofessionals to implement classroom strategies
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to therapy services in schools
