This summer ESY program runs from June 29th to August 6th, Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am to 1:15 pm. You'll be part of an intensive special education program, serving students with autism and other complex needs who require high levels of support. This position provides invaluable exposure to innovative educational practices and leadership philosophies. You’ll refine your clinical skills while making a noticeable impact on the lives of students—and strengthen your resume with diverse, hands-on experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license applicable to schools
- Experience with school-based OT services preferred
- Ability to support students with autism and other complex disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
- Adapt therapy plans to meet each student’s unique needs within the ESY program
- Document progress, attend meetings, and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
