Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Wisconsin OT license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with elementary students, is highly preferred
- Knowledge of academic and functional assessments, intervention planning, and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills for effective interactions with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialized staff to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
