Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 student needs, including IEPs and goal setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and school staff
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering services exclusively on campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine needs for occupational therapy interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support academic and developmental success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adjusting interventions based on ongoing assessment
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Offer staff education, training, and consultation when appropriate
