Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of K-12 student needs, including IEPs and goal setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and school staff
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering services exclusively on campus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students to determine needs for occupational therapy interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support academic and developmental success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, adjusting interventions based on ongoing assessment
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with staff and families
  • Offer staff education, training, and consultation when appropriate
