Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 Occupational Therapist School Setting in Reading, MA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Occupational Therapist, licensed to practice in Massachusetts
• Experience supporting students in grades K–12, including grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and individualized support for varied student needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Commitment to fostering student independence, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in school activities
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability for a school-based setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students with identified needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Consult with educators, aides, and parents to support classroom modifications and strategies
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as required
• Provide direct and consultative services to promote academic, social, and life skills development
• Manage a varied caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings within the district
