Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapist, licensed to practice in Massachusetts
- Experience supporting students in grades K–12, including grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and individualized support for varied student needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering student independence, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in school activities
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability for a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students with identified needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Consult with educators, aides, and parents to support classroom modifications and strategies
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as required
- Provide direct and consultative services to promote academic, social, and life skills development
- Manage a varied caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings within the district
