K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School Occupational Therapist | Reading, Massachusetts

This contract position begins immediately and runs through the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend through July. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective therapeutic strategies
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
• Comfortable working across elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) grade bands
• Adaptable, solution-oriented, and motivated to support diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in multiple grade levels, per their IEP goals
• Assess student needs and recommend appropriate interventions and adaptive strategies
• Collaborate regularly with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and share updates on student progress
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and life skills crucial for daily success
