Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid New York Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR)
  • Prior experience in schools, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare OT settings
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Ability to supervise and mentor other OTs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Leadership abilities and professional maturity

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of ESY (8–11am, Mon–Fri; 15 hours per week)
  • Transition to full-time NSY support (37.5–40 hours per week) with year-round involvement
  • Supervise and support fellow OTs, fostering professional growth and collaboration
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to design and implement student-centered interventions
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP team meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive environment helping all students reach their potential
