Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid New York Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR)
- Prior experience in schools, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare OT settings
- Comfort working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Ability to supervise and mentor other OTs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Leadership abilities and professional maturity
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of ESY (8–11am, Mon–Fri; 15 hours per week)
- Transition to full-time NSY support (37.5–40 hours per week) with year-round involvement
- Supervise and support fellow OTs, fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to design and implement student-centered interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP team meetings
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment helping all students reach their potential
