Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Washington (WA) Occupational Therapist license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential required
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy, teletherapy, healthcare, and/or home health settings
  • Ability to work effectively with K-8 students, families, and educators
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop targeted therapy goals focused on academic and functional skills
  • Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Adapt therapy techniques to suit in-person, teletherapy, and home-based learning environments
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Assist with transition planning and interventions to maximize students’ educational access

This contract assignment offers 38.75 hours per week, with a start date of September 1, 2026, and extending through June 16, 2027. You'll have the chance to positively impact children’s lives, collaborate with supportive professionals, and gain valuable experience in a school-centered setting.
