High School Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting - Redondo Beach, CA

This full-time, 40-hour per week role is available to a skilled and certified Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based environments. You'll provide essential services across three campuses, fostering student growth and success in a vibrant community near Redondo Beach, CA.

Your expertise will be valued as you manage a caseload of 49 students, applying your skills and passion to positively impact learners with diverse needs. This position starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current academic year, culminating on June 5, 2026.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Certification for school-based occupational therapy services
• Demonstrated experience working within school settings
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to serve students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Knowledgeable in a variety of intervention strategies and IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for students of varying ages and abilities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state protocols
• Travel between three school sites as part of your weekly schedule
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Deliver support that fosters independence and skills development
