Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create effective therapy plans
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Experience assessing and addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional classroom needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans that help students access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates with the educational team and families
- Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary school staff during the assignment period
