Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create effective therapy plans
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Experience assessing and addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional classroom needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans that help students access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates with the educational team and families
  • Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary school staff during the assignment period
