Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside educators, school staff, and families
- Familiarity with developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting relevant assessments
- Compassion, creativity, and patience when working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students to determine OT needs and eligibility for school-based services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and IEP objectives
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom activities and environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Communicate progress and recommendations to parents, teachers, and school administrators
