In this role, you will:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services, addressing needs as outlined in IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Foster student participation in daily activities, sensory integration, and classroom routines
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress
- Adapt interventions to support each child’s unique skills and needs
- Complete 25 service days (fulfilled as five consecutive full-time weeks or two days per week through the end of the school year)
Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Occupational Therapy license to practice in California
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a school environment
- Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules and documentation
