Occupational Therapist School Setting - Renton, WA

Your experience in a variety of occupational therapy settings—especially schools and pediatric populations—will be invaluable as you assess, develop, and implement intervention plans that help young learners reach their fullest potential. You’ll work a consistent 35-hour week, with the assignment running from September through mid-June (with additional training days anticipated in August).

What you’ll bring:

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapist licensure (required)
• Prior experience delivering OT services in a school environment, home health, or healthcare setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric evaluation tools and intervention strategies
• Strong communication and consultation skills to support collaboration with educators and families
• Excellent organization to manage caseload documentation and reporting

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and therapy spaces
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student success
• Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
