This contract role, set for the 2026-2027 academic year, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant educational setting near Renton, WA. Your skills in OT across schools, home health, and broader healthcare will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families. With a structured schedule of 35 hours per week and the school year running from September 1, 2026, to June 17, 2027 (with training days in August to be announced), you’ll have the stability to deeply connect with your caseload and witness real growth over the year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Washington State
  • Background in school-based occupational therapy, pediatric care, or relevant healthcare settings
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs and adaptive strategies for elementary-aged children
  • Skill in assessment, evaluation, and delivery of therapy services in an educational context
  • Commitment to professional collaboration with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • COTAs cannot be considered at this time

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to elementary students
  • Assess students’ needs and document progress through formal and informal evaluations
  • Develop tailored intervention plans supporting students’ educational success
  • Consult with teachers and families to integrate recommendations into daily routines
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
