Occupational Therapist School Setting in Renton, WA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, beginning in early September and concluding mid-June—with training days in August yet to be determined. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to help young learners reach their fullest potential. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary populations
• Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices
• Background in healthcare or home health preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
