Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for Massachusetts
- Prior experience in a school, home health, or pediatric healthcare setting
- Ability to tailor therapy for children ages 4–11, with a focus on developmental, sensory, and functional skill-building
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities for service scheduling and progress reporting
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, supporting individual IEP goals
- Assess student needs; develop and track personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into classroom routines
- Conduct screenings and consult with parents regarding strategies for student success
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and professional development as needed
