Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings
  • Comfortable working with elementary-aged children (PreK–5th)
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) for a 12-week maternity leave assignment (possibility of extension)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based OT services to PK–5th grade students within the elementary school environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate progress to families and staff
  • Consult with educators and parents to optimize student independence and success
