Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Confidence in working with a varied caseload, including different age groups and needs
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to suit individual students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Document progress, collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in meetings and contribute to ongoing program planning
- Support the academic and functional independence of students through skill-building activities
