In this full-time, school-based OT role, you'll deliver essential therapy services to students ages 3–21, working across a compact zone of 6–7 schools. With a balanced caseload—primarily consultative and about 30–40 students requiring direct services on a flexible rotation—you'll enjoy the variety and impact of school-based practice without the strain of high-frequency, direct sessions.
Key Requirements:
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Willing and able to work onsite, Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week (full-time required—no part-time or splits)
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Open to highly qualified COTAs with proven, multi-year school experience
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and traveling within an assigned area (zone determined by ZIP code)
- Able to perform comprehensive evaluations, attend ARD meetings, and maintain detailed documentation using SHARES, Onward, and Excel logs for IEP compliance
- Must be available from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:30 AM–3:30 PM as scheduled
- Candidates must successfully complete required district fingerprinting before starting
