Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in Virginia
- Experience providing OT services in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and creativity to engage learners with diverse needs
- Familiarity with relevant technology for documentation and virtual meetings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for holistic student support
- Maintain up-to-date records and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to assist staff in supporting students’ access and participation
